Hexham Queen Elizabeth Grammar School's Gymnastic Club 1976
BACK in 1976, the skills of these girls from Hexham Queen Elizabeth Grammar School’s gymnastic club were demonstrated with a display in the school hall. The performance ran for near two hours, and raised £40 for gym club funds.
Those taking part were Paula Tomkinson, Dianne Daley, Evelynne Hedley, Jane Murray, Alison Mitchell, Angela Fox, Heather MacPherson, Elizabeth Potter, Gillian Robson, Michelle Peacock, Jane Wootton, Helen Dixon, Amanda Brooke, Angela Herdman, Susan Barrington, Susan Chisholm, Patricia Daley, Joanne Burney, Maxine Barclay, Julie Watson, Gwyneth Lee, Christine Pattinson, Pamela Charlton, Rachel Newsome and Louise Laidlow.
