Film Hub Central East collaborated with award-winning service design agency Snook to devise Cinema Know How, which focuses on diversifying the culture of an organisation, broadening the offer and increasing footfall. Social and rural inclusion is a priority.
Five cinemas in Dalston, Clevedon, Wisbech, Hull and Oxford are also taking part in the four-month long programme.
Manager of Film Hub Central East Eleanor Thornley said: “At a time when there are so many options available when it comes to how the public consumes film, Cinema Know How is a great opportunity for venues to think about their offer.
“What makes them stand out? And how can they listen to their audience and put their needs at the fore of what they do?
“Film Hub Central East is committed to helping cinemas find a sustainable future.”
