From his base in the Savills’ Corbridge office, Darren East will cover the north of the country with a particular focus on Northumberland, Durham and Yorkshire.
Darren has more than 15 years experience in forestry and estate management helping a range of clients including private estate owners and public sector clients.
Michael Orde, head of Savills Corbridge, said: “We have been aware that the increasing complexity of forestry management means that landed estates and other timber growers need good quality professional advice in this sector. This appointment will enable us to develop new business while servicing the forestry requirements of Savills clients across the property spectrum. We are delighted to have recruited Darren, whose experience and expertise in the management of woodlands along with his training in undertaking tree surveys significantly strengthens the Savills team across Northumberland and the wider North East.”
