A FORMER pupil of Prudhoe High School has been named partner of one of the country’s leading professional services companies.

Gemma Clark has been welcomed into the partnership of Pricewaterhouse Coopers as an audit partner.

Gemma grew up in Prudhoe and attended Prudhoe Community High School before going on to study a BSc in management at UMIST in Manchester.

She has worked at PwC for the past 15 years, originally joining the Leeds office, following a university internship at PwC Newcastle and is now based in Embankment Place in London.

During her career to date Gemma been nominated onto the PwC global leadership programme, Genesis Park, spending three months based in Warsaw, Poland.

She has also been seconded to Asda as its corporate controller and has spent time advising the internal PwC assurance executive board on its communication strategy.
