AN OTTERBURN wedding venue has unveiled a new bar to serve its guests.

Woodhill Hall, a 300-year-old Georgian manor house, has created the bar to serve its residential tepees, which can hold up to 180 guests.

The bar houses the venue’s extensive gin collection as well as a wide range of whiskies, vodkas and bourbons which have been carefully selected by couples over the years.

The Woodhill Hall team, led by owner Corrinne Knight, worked closely with interior designer Simon Bartlett on its creation, as well as the team from Sticky Sponge Cakes, to create what they’ve called a secret bar that would give a twist to evening wedding celebrations.

Corrinne said: “The secret bar is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I am over the moon that it’s received such positive feedback since its creation earlier this year– everyone seems to have a great time trying to find it!”

“Woodhill is unlike any venue in the North-East and we continue to invest in the hall to ensure couples have the best day possible in the most unforgettable of surroundings.”
