The company took the award for Water Resource Project of the Year.
And for the third consecutive year, Northumbrian Water also won the Sustainable Drainage and Flood Management Initiative of the Year award.
The 2017 Water Industry Achievement Awards were held in Birmingham.
Northumbrian Water’s Every Drop Counts campaign was named the Water Resource Project of the Year. The campaign was launched in 2014 and uses home audits to identify opportunities to install devices to save water and money.
The company flood alleviation scheme at Brunton Park in Newcastle earned the company the Sustainable Drainage and Flood Management Initiative award.
The £7m scheme was established in partnership with Newcastle City Council in October 2014 and reduces flooding risk to over 100 properties.
Chief executive officer at Northumbrian Water Group Heidi Mottram said: “I am really delighted and immensely proud of these awards and the customer and environmental benefits they represent.
“To pick up two awards, and be shortlisted seven times is a great achievement for everyone involved.”
