A HEXHAM builders’ merchant is celebrating a milestone anniversary.
MKM Hexham celebrated 10 years in the town by throwing a party for customers at its Bridge End branch.
In 2014, the branch underwent a makeover, with a new kitchen and bathroom showroom installed. There is also a large outdoor landscaping display with the very latest products on show.
Branch manager Derek Telfer, alongside a team of 16 employees, has been closely involved with the Hexham community for the past decade.
The business supports a number of local organisations and charities, including Tynedale Rugby Club, Tynedale Cricket Club and Josie’s Dragonfly Trust.
Derek said: “The support we have had from the local area over the past 10 years has been fantastic, so it is really important to give back to the community as much as we can.”
