The legal firm, with offices in Tynedale and Cumbria, has secured status within the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
The firm underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to secure CQS status, which marks them out as meeting the highest of standards in the residential conveyancing process.
Cartmell Shepherd has a team of 16 solicitors and residential conveyancers at its offices in Haltwhistle, Carlisle, Penrith and Brampton.
Managing director Peter Stafford said: “Cartmell Shepherd is delighted to have secured CQS membership.
“This accreditation ensures we remain at the top of our game providing a first-rate service to our clients.
“We are lucky to have the real benefit of a skilled and dedicated team of which I am very proud.”
To retain CQS status, firms must undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews.
