A HEXHAM firm which works in countries across the world has been nominated for a prestigious award for the second successive year.
Inter Global Forwarding offers freight and cargo solutions for customers across the UK and abroad.
Last year, the business came runner-up in the North East Exporters’ Awards ‘supporting export’ category.
But this time round, director Chris Goreham is determined to see IGF scoop the top prize in the competition, which is organised by the North East Chamber of Commerce.
He said: “It was nice to be nominated last year, but this time we would like to go one better.
“We have grown considerably over the past 12 months.
“A year ago, we had four members of staff, and now we have eight.
“We are constantly looking to develop our services, and getting nominated for awards such as this can only be a good thing because it helps us to raise awareness of what we do.”
IGF has been based in Hexham for more than 20 years. It ships goods via road, air and sea.
In addition to its work overseas, IGF offers an efficient courier service in the UK.
