A GROWING Hexham business is on the fast track to success after earning a nomination for the North-East Exporters’ Awards.
Inter Global Forwarding has been running out of its Hexham office for over 20 years offering freight forwarding solutions to a broad base of customers in the UK and Europe.
The company, which ships freight via road, air and sea, is now in the top three up to receive the ‘Supporting Export Award’ at the ceremony at Ramside Hall on June 25.
The event, organised by the North-East Chamber of Commerce, aims to recognise companies that work to boost the regional economy through overseas trade.
Director Chris Goreham said: “It was a nice surprise to find out we had been nominated.
“Everyone is delighted, we’re all looking forward to the awards ceremony.
“It’s a great opportunity to meet other businesses and celebrate what the region can do.
“Exports in the North-East are high, it’s a night to be proud of the industry we are part of and what we can do.”
