Matfen Estates, owner of Matfen Hall Hotel, launched Standing Stone Farm, an 8000 sq. ft. rural courtyard office development close to Matfen last year.
Only three of the 12 self-contained units, situated over two floors, are still available to let to prospective businesses who want the advantages of an eco-friendly development in an accessible location with the same levels of digital connectivity you would find in a city centre.
One of the tenants, who moved into Standing Stone Farm as it was completed at the end of last year, is R H Irving Industrials Ltd, a market leader in the field of security systems installation.
Managing Director Gavin Dunn said: “These facilities have been ideal for the expansion of our business.
“They offer a great environment for our staff, with plenty of free parking and all the advantages of easy access to Newcastle and to the motorway network. We needed state of the art connectivity which this development can provide. Working in a rural location works really well for our business.”
