Flood aftermath - Ovingham
BARELY 48 hours after it reopened, Ovingham Bridge closed again on Saturday - this time as the River Tyne rose to record levels, flooding homes and fields along its route.
In the aftermath of Saturday's flood, John Robson, of Prudhoe, took this video of Ovingham Bridge and the devastation caused at Low Prudhoe industrial estate and the Tyne Riverside Country Park.
Ovingham Bridge remains closed to traffic, but is accessible to pedestrians.
